Are you a Christian? How many times have people asked you this question?
It is so easy to say, yes, I am a Christian. One day I realized that I was a sinner, (Romans 3:23) and by faith I confessed my sin, (Romans 10:9), and ask Jesus to come into my heart and He saved me.
Okay, are you a Christian in name only or are you a person with a personal relationship with Christ? The Scripture says in John 10:27, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:"
Can you think back when you got saved? You were so excited you could hardly wait to tell your friends of your experience of accepting Christ as your Saviour.
Jesus gave His life for you, and you should want to faithfully serve Him. If you are going to have a personal relationship with Christ, you need to pray and read His Word every day. (Psalm 119:11) "Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee." The Bible is God's love letter to you. It has the basic instructions that you need to follow, before leaving this earth.
If you read the Word and pray, you will be able to walk in obedience to the Word. Where ever you go as a Christian, your life should show Christ.
You shouldn't have to wear a sign on your back saying, "I am a Christian". Christ gave His life for you. Are you living your life so people can see Christ in and through you?
Are you a Christian? Do you have a personal relationship with Christ? People are leaving this life every day without Christ because some Christians are not living for Him.
