Jeremiah 6:16

"Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein."

Bro. Terry's Thoughts:

The children of Israel had the same problem many Christians and churches have today. They have intentionally walked in the wrong paths. They need to stop and take a good look at their ways; then shake themselves and ask for the "OLD PATHS."

The "old paths" are tried and are proven paths for the saints and also the church. The paths that are not the "old paths" will wear a soul down, but the "old paths" are well trodden. God walks these paths, and the soul finds rest. A foolish Christian or church will choose their own way instead of the blessed paths of God.
